The Template of Time, by Tom Payne, reveals how history, for over 2000 years, has followed a biblical time pattern. Just as weather patterns generate forecasts of future weather events this historical pattern generates predictions of future historical events. And like the weather, these patterns suggest probabilities, not certainties. A few of The Template of Time's predictions that have been fulfilled now follow:

The time cycles appear and then keep reappearing. When the 180-year time cycle (Isaac's life span) appears the eleventh time it becomes a time cycle of 1980 years (11 X 180 = 1980).
Time Cycles Extend From Three Hubs
Every time cycle is then extended from three important dates in the life of Jesus: 6 BC, 26 AD and 30 AD. (See Chapter Preview above for more information on the selection of these dates.) Extending the 1980-year time cycle from these dates produces the following three-date sequence: 1974-2006-2010. (If interested, here is the simple math of the template: 1980 - 6 BC = 1974 AD; 1980 + 26 AD = 2006 AD; 1980 + 30 AD = 2010 AD)
These three dates form a historical pattern that works as follows:
1. Around 1974 a historical movement is Initiated (I).
2. Around 2006 this movement is sent in a New direction (N).
3. Around 2010 this movement grows and achieves its Culmination (C).
This forms what is called an INC sequence and its predictive qualities are illustrated below.

That said, we are nearing the culmination of historical processes 2000 and 6000 years in the making, and the template suggests monumental changes will occur in the coming decades.
